Lovely June
Right on time again! The June picture from the BBC Homes and Antiques Magazine. The only thing I am not quite sure about is the silver spotlight lamp. But everything else, beautiful.Knitting, Crocheting, Pretty Little Vintage Things

They were just sitting at home watching their beloved Habs when their home was sucked into a kilometre wide sinkhole. How do you explain such freak and utterly unbelievable events like this to children?Posted by Knitty, Vintage and Rosy at 9:56 a.m. 5 comments

I have been shopping my little heart out with DN2. Her prom is at the end of May and her schedule just opened up about a week and a half ago. Hockey Season is now over, she played her last game in Canada two weeks ago :( She needs a prom dress and it isn't easy!
She favours the halter type dress and it is what suits her the best. She has a very large bust (38C,D) and I love that she wants full length. It makes the shoe thing not as big of a deal.Posted by Knitty, Vintage and Rosy at 9:44 a.m. 5 comments

And before I went away I had picked up the March issue of Country Homes and Interiors but I did not have a chance to show you the lovely images. I lurve this wallpaper with all my heart and soul.Posted by Knitty, Vintage and Rosy at 9:34 a.m. 24 comments

Oh yes my little chicks it is time for Miss Knitty, Vintage and Rosy to leave on a little sojourn. I will be traveling in such a style as to create much animosity and jealousy within blogdom.
Okay, it isn't going to be in a lovely snail trail caravan. Or a lovely old beauty like this. I will be on a coach with 15 high school girls going to Provincials (hockey) in our nation's capital. (That would be Ottawa as I am sure all of you know). But it will be special. This will be the last hockey tournament I will be on with my daughter as this is her last one before she leaves for University...Posted by Knitty, Vintage and Rosy at 7:13 p.m. 18 comments

See pretty granniness? If you want to granny a rectangle here is what helped me. If you would like specifics on how to tighten near the end to get that secure tucked in edge, email me and I will tell you how.Posted by Knitty, Vintage and Rosy at 10:19 a.m. 21 comments

"Of all the great things that the English have invented and made part of the credit of the national character, the most perfect, the most characteristic, the only one they have mastered completely in all its details so that it becomes a compendious illustration of their social genius and their manners, is the well-appointed, well-administered, well-filled country house."
