Salutations on this most Hallowed Day...
In celebration of this Hallowe'en day I present to you one of my most favourite set designs of all time.
The Practical Magic home.
This home was featured in a Victoria magazine shortly after the film debuted. I have this magazine somewhere but how divine is this chair? This set designer is a genius.
This is one of my all time favorite movies and I also LOVE that house. That is my dream kitchen and I love the conservatory opening out to the garden. I may have to watch this movie again tonight as you have reminded me how much I love it. Great post!
I'm so cross that not all of them can be made bigger! They really are fabulous.....i just love the kitchens! My omes weak point.....tiny kitchen....oh well could be worse! I'm in two minds whether to have the Cath kid boots that show on your sidebar.....on my christmas list.....they are really lovely and would match my new bag....wonder if they will go in the sale? xxxxx
OOoohhh envy at the cowboy ones....fab! I like your style.....:>))
I've busted my Boden ones...:>(( they were my faves, the toffee apple cowboy boot ones.....so sad...they don't do them any more!:>((
Still means i really do NEED these ones...the green is fab....will go so well with my bag......i was naughty and bought it the other night when my friend came to stay....CK is TOO tempting!!! LOL...xx
I adore that film, and that house...To die for. I want to live there, the conservatory opening out to the garden it beautiful and breath taking, When I get older I'm going to have my house built to mimic this one!
The set is amazing. How I wish I could have a home like that. I would have loved a four door Aga, mine is only two, maybe one day! *Sigh* I have never seen this film, but I must see it now so I can drool. Happy 'Belated Birthday! X
Love your blog; the movie is one of my favorites. The kitchen, conservatory and gardens are to die for! To own a Victorian would be my dream come true...XOSue~
I don't think I have seen that film, but I love those images, so pretty.
