Ask and You Shall Receive...

Tim Tams are the most delectable cookie ever to pass these lips. I wrote a whole post on them a while back and am ashamed to admit, still very addicted to them and am totally guilty of cleaning out a whole store, without any remorse whatsoever. I am such a pig. For those in the UK they should be available at Tesco's.
Skinny Sticks are usually in the organic section. They are kind of chip/crisp like but better for you. Well that's what I tell myself if I polish off a whole bag. Moving on.

I picked this up today. I got a brain wave at 1:00 am while lying in bed trying to sleep that I have a club chair in the family room that desperately needed a new slipcover and thought jeez doesn't Ikea have a chair like this? Don't they sell a slipcover for it? Wouldn't it look great on that club chair? Bob's your uncle. Did I mention we have three (3) Ikeas here within a 20 minute drive?
I think I'm a lucky puppy.

Thanks for telling us about the Tim Tams. They look lovely. I've never seen them in Tesco but then I guess I've never been specifically looking for them. I'll have a look when I do my shopping on Saturday. As for the slip cover, its gorgeous. How great that the Ikea cover fits your armchair. I love Ikea but try not to go often as it is impossible to leave empty handed!

I can personally vouch for the Tim Tams (I only got one but boy was it good!). We have similar crisps to Skinny Sticks over here, I think we can class them as a health food, don't you!
Love the rosy slipcover, can you show us a pic of it in situ.

Tim Tams? Okay, that's as good an excuse as any to head for New Brunswick. ;D

Excellent solution for your club chair!

I go to Ikea on any excuse if I am near. Jam, for instance. Their Queen's Blend is one of the best jams I've ever had. My other half prefers the Black Currant so you see two jams to go for and then a little look around.....

Love the cover. I@m really pleased now that florals are back in fashion...I've got so bored with all that minimalist stuff! What a brainwave to get one form Ikea!

Lisa, did some googling about the Tim Tams and it seems people go CRAZY for these cookies. I read a random post by someone who said that they can be found here in the States at Cost Plus World Market, so I will have to check it out. Appears I'm missing out big time!

Hi Lisa, I do love that slipcover - how lucky you are to have 3 Ikeas, we have to drive 45 miles to our nearest one, but I tend to stay away as it's too easy to spend in there - once a year treat at most!
Have a lovely week,

Aren't we Aussies smart, inventing the Tim Tam? They come in all different flavours now, but the original ones are the best.

The trick is to dip them in your hot drink, then suck out the centre. Truly!
