"Of all the great things that the English have invented and made part of the credit of the national character, the most perfect, the most characteristic, the only one they have mastered completely in all its details so that it becomes a compendious illustration of their social genius and their manners, is the well-appointed, well-administered, well-filled country house."

dreamt away for a couple of minutes, thank you!
Nice post, will look out for the book. I have just emptied one of my sheds (more or less LOL), and am just about to do it up for using properly instead of just piling "stuff" into it!
I just love all of it - big sigh of contentment - I don't have a shed - but I have a garage, see my post today - it's not quite as pretty.

Hi Ya ...I have it ..! and like you have looked through it a lot i got it from Amazon and you will be lost in planning your own little getaway .....
Oh how much I love gypsy caravans!
Such lovely pictures.... day beds are another love and I yearn for my own home and the day I can create my day bed area.

i love all of this. i am currently on the hunt for a shabby floral curtain to double as a tablecloth for my picnic table. i don't want to spend much so i keep checking clearance end caps. i really love this look -- all floral and rough at once. sigh.
xo
hi lisa -
happy I found you, too...
have a beautiful day -
hugs from moa
I have always loved those caravans, I think I would have to have one of those in my garden ( if I had one :-()
Thank you for this lovely post!

oooh I loved each and every one of those...sheer bliss...and the simplicity of it all ahhhhhhh
What fab pics... I've always wanted a gypsy caravan in the garden, but just can't fit it... would have to hire a crane, LOL.
I love everything- so dreamy! I only wish one could fit in our back garden. Maybe someday. x
Thanks for sharing the pics - I am going to have to get this book for myself!
I would love to have a Vardo in my backyard! What is it about those things that intrigues me so beyond the gilding and the vivid colors? Love'em.
