Sad ~ because it is almost 40 degrees with the humidity and too hot to sit in my favourite spot in the garden
Overwhelmed ~ because my mother picked this up for me at a church sale and only paid 50 cents for it

Happy ~ because the ripple blanket is so beautiful and tranquil to crochet and so very pleased with the yarn

Giddy ~ because things are really starting to bloom, finally

Happy Weekend!

I love your photos! The ripple looks divine, and what an awesome mom you have! It's unbearably hot here today today, it's making me feel like a very non productive lump. It's rather scary when I think about what I'm capable of doing for central air and an Iced coffee. Good thing it's too hot for me to venture anywhere.

Someone has a very good eye for a bargain. That vase is charming and unique.

The afghan is the colors and it looks so soft and cozy.

You've shown us some lovely things in your photos...what a gorgeous spot to sit when it's not too hot...generally not a problem in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Evening Lisa, thanks for stopping by today and your sweet comment. I've missed blogland this past week, traveling to Montana didn't allow much time.

Love your new header by the way, so fresh and Spring like. Sorry your temps have been too hot, I'll send some of this cold Montana weather your way. :)

Wow, your blanket is gorgeous, love the colors. I haven't been knitting lately, busy with our move, I'm missing it though, I will pick it up again soon, I'm sure.
