Jobs/Employment

Large family looking for in-house IT Specialist. Must be able to conquer all viruses as a direct result of children constantly surfing net and 5 hour msn messenger marathons. Being tall, dark and handsome, definitely an asset. Apply within.

Therein lies the problem folks. Hijacked homepage, firewall issues, you get the picture. Til I'm back to full power, I will leave you with this reason to fear acrylic and all of its derivatives.

I feel your pain!!! My laptop was previously taken over by lots of yucky stuff..........DSL is wonderful but since my laptop is never shutdown, the connection is always open. I would open my laptop in the morning to 100+ popups, etc. I tried and tried to save it to no avail. So I simply installed Mozilla over all the evilness and haven't had a problem since! Good luck!!

That article you linked to is something all right. By the way, how do like 'Light on Snow'? I finished that one in one evening a few weeks ago...needed the break between sweaters, I guess.

Lisa, you definitely need to install Norton Internet Security and Webroot Spysweeper (found at Bestbuy or Future Shop). Both are easy to setup and use. The sites kids go to these days are full of crap that gets on your computer. Using Firefox as your default browser will help, too. Hope this helps.

With 5 kids, I know - go to Majorgeeks.com and download AntiVir (better than Norton for home use) BHODeamon - prevents browser hijacks, Spybot, Ad-Aware, and CWShredder, also can download panicware's pop-up stopper. (all free) And make sure to update them weekly!!!!! Let me know if you need more help - email me and I can send you direct links. Also right now there is an ugly one a.exe - search for it - rename it and then delete it.

It is a pain and has taken me three years and a lot of techiee-ness to learn how to keep it clean. -

Good luck

Thank you for your wonderful site. Although I did not find resume tips as a directmatch to your site, I did however enjoy the monster jobs from other posts.
Thanks again for being here!

Hey everyone! Cool site! The job search engines seems good and the internet jobs are endless. Maybe I will have a better directmatch searching for retail jobs,
since my keyword "customer care jobs" nor healthcare jobs did not fit as intended.
Glad I found you! Keep on keepin on!
