If I Could Get Some Advice Here...

Absolutely, for sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt, my camera cannot be fixed. So I need some suggestions from my faithful readers. I know many of you have fantastic cameras and I would love your input. Do I continue with my Canon love affair? Do I try Fuji? Please, all suggestions will be considered. And of course, it must be of the point and shoot variety. I am far too timid to be an SLR girl.

This was my first camera, btw. I loved it. Is that not the most delightful flash ever? It was this little cube that would rotate. Thanks for dropping by, girls.

Lisa xoxo

PS Thanks for your most gracious comments on my paint job!

The Canon SD series of point and shoots tend to be well-reviewed. I have found http://dpreview.com/ a very useful resource in comparing camera features and reading detailed reviews. They cover all levels of digital cameras, from the DSLRs, to the tiny point-n-shoots.

Have you ever visited ChocolateChic? She takes amazing photos. She just shared what her camera is and darn if I can't find it. Oh well. I do know that it was a Nikon something.

Oh, I had that camera too! I used to love it! As far as modern cameras go, I did some research last year when I was looking for a new one, and came to the conclusion that the main brands are largely much of a muchness in terms of features etc. Most reviews I read suggested sticking with a brand if you already liked it and were familiar with the controls. Hope that helps!

Hiya, my OH (super techno geek) always buys Fuji Finepix cameras - the colours are amazing. They usually come out top on all the reviews.
