"Of all the great things that the English have invented and made part of the credit of the national character, the most perfect, the most characteristic, the only one they have mastered completely in all its details so that it becomes a compendious illustration of their social genius and their manners, is the well-appointed, well-administered, well-filled country house."

Love that bedlinen - it looks fantastic!

I am excited about this, yet slightly jealous as we don't have Pottery Barn here in the UK. Yes, we do have Liberty of London close at hand, but it is hugely expensive!

Jealous! I can't believe we don't have a Pottery Barn in the UK! This is even worse than when Orla Kiely did Target! Shop for me too!
What fabulous bedlinen and those little toys are sweet.thank you for posting as there is no pottery barn in ireland either, but we do have Cath Kidston (only ten minutes from my home) in the last few months. hugs Margie.
i don't think that's happening in my neck of the woods but it looks cool!

We do have Pottery Barn here in NYC, in fact, it started here decades ago, as an importer of various bits and pieces from UK and France for the kitchen and home.
Nowadays, it is a bit of knock off shop, having sort of reproductions of "real" designs manufactured all over the world where the cost might be low.
I still have some lovely English ironstone plates and bowls bought at Pottery Barn in maybe ... 1969 or 70. Even the English pottery doesn't exist anymore.
Ask Liberty if their fabric is what is really in those photos....
Cheers.
How lovely!
The rabbits really are, cos I saw them in a shop here in England just the other day....the Lavender tree.....so cute!xx
